About Dr. Gray

Joshua Gray DO is a primary care internal medicine physician working within the Hendrick Clinic in Abilene, TX. 

Dr. Gray was born and raised in Waxahachie, TX where he was a star student and saxophonist. After graduation, he went to Austin College in Sherman, TX where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in biochemistry and Spanish.  The next three years after college Dr. Gray  worked as a chemist in Dallas, TX. It was during that time that he met his love and future wife Carolyn. They were married in 2010, and shortly afterward, Josh started medical school at the Kansas City University of Biomedical Sciences. In Kansas City, Dr. Gray was busy with medical training and Carolyn worked as a elementary school teacher. They both stayed consistently active in their church. In 2015, they welcomed their first son Caleb into the world.

Dr. Gray graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)  degree in 2014 and then started his medical residency in internal medicine at the University of Kansas. While there, he enjoyed top notch education from a nationally ranked hospital with world class attending physicians. 

He is now practicing medicine in Abilene, TX at Hendrick Medical Plaza at the south campus location on Buffalo Gap.  He also makes rounds at the hospital. He enjoys meeting new patients and feels that it is important to give each person who comes to his office his full attention. He strives to be a thorough listener and works hard to understand the root causes of illness in his patients.
